Foodservice Division -- National Channel Sales Manager

Job Description

Reporting to the VP, Foodservice Sales, the National Channel Sales Manager is responsible for meeting the business initiatives for foodservice channel customers within the Healthcare, Military and Contract Feeder segments.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Develop and present go-to-market strategies and economic analyses which anticipate opportunities and barriers to be encountered in building new channel business. Implement and execute the selected strategies in the Foodservice Sales division.
  • Build relationships with suppliers, brokers and distributors in the Foodservice industry, building on existing business relationships and forging new ones as needed.
  • Present value-added programs and solutions for National Account customers in order to increase base business. Grow profit and volume. Develop annual financial business plans for designated foodservice accounts. Manages P&L and builds budget for channel customers.
  • Manage military sales segment including broker management.
Experience/Education
Required

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) required. Graduate degree (or equivalent experience) preferred.
  • 10+ years experience managing and development Foodservice Channel business.
  • Must have proven business management experience.
  • Previous experience in beverage sales and regional territory selling.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical and influencing skills.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Private label experience preferred.
  • This sales position is home-office based with travel required as needed. Ideal residence location for this position is East Coast.
